There's always the srping on the tensioner pulley. If it starts to wear it won't keep the right amount of tension on the belts, so when the engine is cold, or you rev it, the belts slip and squeal. I don't think there is any real way to test if the tensioner is doing it's job 100%, you just have to go through the process of elimination
