Wont start and radio is also out.

Asked by Abel Dec 16, 2008 at 02:40 PM about the 2003 Chrysler Sebring LXi Sedan FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My car acts like the battery is dead. When I turn key nothing at all starter doesnt try to turn also the lights on stereo are out. Lights on car work fine and locks work. I had towing service try and jump it and it still didn't start he thinks it acts like it has and alarm or kill switch on it. It doesnt have an alarm or kill switch is there some fuse that runs both the starter and stereo???

When I changed my 20 amp fuse it blew again. Do you know what the problem is? I think it might be a bad connection. Any other thoughts or ideas where the connection might be?

I'm having the same problem I just got a new starter 2 days ago. And I tried to jump her also I checked the fuses I did notice I'm missing a large fuse #56006709 but I'm not sure how long its been missing .. It started. I drove forgot something shut the car off and it wouldn't start. Could it be the battery hot wet cause its on the front drivers front panel
