Dash lights won't turn off

Hi my Odometer and clock light stay's on 24/7 any idea why it never turns off
unless my battery it unplugged ???

Is there a switch you can turn up the brightness lever, see if it is shorting out in wires or needs replaced.

I have a 2002 Volkswagen Passat for some reason I turn off all of my power and the display lights it everything including doors and speedometer and radio stay on what could be the problem? And yes I took the key out of the ignition
