Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have an 07 Grand Cherokee with the flex fuel 4.7. Can I swap the 4.7 with a
5.7 or a 6.1 with no modification?  The engine I currently have keeps acting up
and I really don't want to keep dumping money into it. Or should I just get
another 4.7? This is in a Grand Cherokee Laredo with the 4X4 2 (not really sure
what 4X4 2 is.)..

This is not a bolt in conversion by any stretch of the imagination. Sell yours and get a GC with the engine you want but if you want reliable don't buy another Jeep or Dodge.
