no, when you ck fluid levels in this trans, you have to know what the fluid temp is, so you know where it is supposed to read on the dipstick. It is a special tool at dealer or shop.

Yes if you always check it at normal operating temperature. I had a dealer shop use their universal stick and then measured the length from top of tube to oil line where it should be at that temperature. Then got a long transmission oil stick from a junk yard car and shortened the handle until it was at the same length when shoved all the way into the tube.
