If you have your owners manual for your vehicle it will show you where it's at. I think yours has a relay in th fuse panel. Ford I know has the fuel shut off switch.

try a new fuel filter, and clean the throttle body. It wouldn't hurt to scan the computer for codes.
No, no owners manual. When I am able to force it to run it seems like it only runs on 3 or 4 cylinders. The Jeep shut down with NO warning prior. No dummy lights are lit up on the instrument panel. There is only 54,000 on the Jeep. We have had a new problem arise with the 2011 Jeep Liberty every 2-3 months. 1st the emergency brake being innoperative, then the drvs side window stopped responding, the heater not working , replaced the climate control panel, then the accuators not what they are supposed to, replaced those, then the water pump went bad, replaced the water pump, now 1.5 months later the Liberty stops running while in transit on a very busy artery with my wife alone coming home from work at 2pm. We bought the Liberty on 12-14 with 38,000 and now have 54,000.I'm beginning to wonder is there a lemon law for our situation?
Prior to buying the 2011 Jeep Liberty we were given a car fax and it was spotless?
