Quick question I have a 2011 ram 1500 and I
tried filling it up at gas pump an it doesn't
want to fill the nozzle clicks after a few
second so I got underneath it an notice my
vent hose (the little one) was hanging and the
nipple was still in it and cracked off of the
breather is there anyway I can fix it without
replacing the tank it cracked almost even with
the housing

I have fixed plastic parts like this with superglue, but being gas tank it really needs to be a tight seal to vent properly. Superglue adheres pretty quick but you will have to hold the part firmly in place for 30 seconds or so for it to set.

Is J B Weld plastic better an I was thinking about a toothpick to hold in place an to keep the opening clear
