2000 dodge durango slt

Hello today i tried putting my 2000 dodge durango slt into
4wheel low. I was able to do so but when i pulled it bacl
with all my might it made a grindimg noise and now is
stuck im 4 wheel low with the lever free floating for awd. Im
not sure if i broke something or if my car is screwed. It still
runs and drives and shifts fine. I just want the awd in
service amd want to fine the problem i caused
