Chevrolet Cruze LT cutting out when driving and cranking sound when starting it

I have a Chevrolet Cruze LT that has just started cutting
out whilst driving. It did that 5 times and l drove for 30km
now it has just switched off completely. It is cranking and l
called the diagnosis guys and they found no fault. There is
no error alert. Please may you assist me.

This happened to my son's 2012 Cruz and it is the computer...hard to fix and expensive
