Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I was driving my 2001Audi A6 quarto. When I was
driving and coming to a stop I turned the engine off
while I was still in drive and moving then I put it in
neutral first try to start it and nothing no crank no
turn over no clicking but the dash indicator lights
all come on like normal but still nothing so I
checked all the fuses that I know of anyway and
still nothing what can be the problem? Is it fixable?

Did you try to pull any codes with a Vagcom reader? Do you get power to anything else? Interior lights, radio, exterior lights, etc...?

If still have power to everything else could be a failed starter or starter solenoid. Another could be the safety switch on the clutch pedal since it has to be depressed to start the car. Only other thing I could think of is bad key cylinder or immobilizer triggered for some reason. Though first step is Vagcom or VCDS Lite to pull errors from the ECU.
