I bought my car from my friend with my engine
check light on diagnostic said Cadillac converter I
bought some caddy clean from autozone and now
the check light engine is off but now in the car cuts
off every time it reaches normal temperature of
driving it cuts right off and won't come back on for
another 30 minutes what can it be

Should have fixed the cat. instead of a band aid. Check the can to make sure it was 02 sensor safe. Also I would have it scanned for any codes.
