would a stock 2012 durango r/t be able to handle a supercharger?

Yes it will, MOPAR actually sells the supercharger kit, i believe its 5PSI with the pulley that comes with it, and you can max it out at 8 with a smaller pulley

Yes it will but if you want something simple you could get superchips for it and or headers. Supercharger will shorten the engine life. You can now get hte Grand Cherokee srt8 with a Hennesy supercharger with the new 6,4 liter Hemi delivering 800+ hP :o)
