Water leaking into driver side

Asked by Robert-James Jan 11, 2020 at 04:44 PM about the 2012 Cadillac SRX Luxury AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Anytime it rains, water is leaking onto the floor from the
driver side. The leak comes from underneath the stirring
wheel on the left side. Usually, it's a small puddle, but today
it was nearly flooded.

Does the car have a sun roof? If so, I would suspect a leak or disconnect in the drain line.

There’s also a specifically formed foam weatherproofing block that can become displaced on the firewall near the hood hinges and the drivers side door crease. Make sure that it is still in place.

That sounds simple enough. Thanks Yes it does have a sunroof. I'm going to Google these 2 things and try to fix it. Thanks again
