When new my hyundai mirrors worked as described, but recently it doesnt matter weather the switch is to the right or left both mirrors dip down.Whatrs the problem

if switch is moved to right or left both mirrors dip down. But when new if moved to the left both mirrors dipped or to the right only one mirror dipped. What is the problem

Only thing I can think of is that the switch is faulty. If under warentee it should not be an issue to swap out. but if you have to change it yourself it might just be some dry joints and requires some re-soldering.
