Car chokes sometimes when driving 30-50 and usually when you let off the gas

Asked by Charlouie1 Aug 20, 2017 at 03:19 PM about the 2012 Hyundai Elantra Limited FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Every so often my car will choke when
driving 30-50 MPH, mostly when you let off
the gas. Once you hit the gas it seems to
be ok- very strange. It never chokes while
accelerating. Seems like it may be a fuel
filter on line issue??? I've recently been
adding fuel treatment. Seemed to help
some but goes still randomly have the
issue.
