I successfully connected my phone Bluetooth to my
Chevrolet Malibu 2012 but I can’t play music via
Bluetooth. I can only receive calls via the Bluetooth

I can't pair phone. System will not take "Bluetooth" command, it just says Pardon. I can not get past this to even get to the pairing part of the process. This is a 2009 Malibu.

I just purchased a 2016 and it won't play music on BT. I broke down and bought a auxiliary cord.

Good answered about a year ago

Some models do not support Bluetooth music streaming. Example: 2012 Chevy Malibu original and LT models do not support Bluetooth but the LTZ model does.
