Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My ford escape has been parked for a few months, went to boost it and the alarm went off, went and started it but the alarm was still going off, so to make a long story short we have the alarm key thing but the buttons are missing, so i went from the alarm model under the dash and cut a wire i thought was the one i wanted but ya it wasent, but now when i turn the key it wont start. i hook the wire back up but it still wont start, i just want to know if i triped the imomlizer.

I had teh same problem with my '01 escape XLY except my friend tripped it by opening the door, and so my alrm went off adn i had to wait till my car died to reset it. i should have had the security system switched to my new auto start system :/

Our 2004 Escape went dead from sitting. recharged it and now the battery is fully charged. it will turn over but not catch. we left the battery unhooked overnight, replaced the FOB battery, had AAA come with a computer to analyze it....now waiting on a tow truck. this seems like it should be a quick fix.
