I had the same problem, the only way I could shut the radio off was to remove the fuse and then reinsert it. It doesn’t always happen when I answer my cellphone, however, when it does this seems to be the only way to turn radio off and prevent it from draining the battery.

This happened to my 2010 Kia Sportage, the only way I could turn the radio off was to remove the fuse and then reinsert it. This is an occasional problem and this solution to definitely easier and cheaper than bringing the car into Kia dealerships. It also prevents the battery from being drained by the radio if the car isn’t running. Good luck.
