Hello.
I am about to purchase used Forde EDGE 2012 SEL , 3.5L
V6 , 37 000 miles, automatic, US Spec for 17.500€ would
you think that would be a good long time investment?
Im located in germany. Driving a lot in high speed.

My other option is VW passat, 2015, 43000miles, 16000

The Ford is probably the way I would go, but you are in Germany so MPG is a prime consideration which might give the VW the edge. Also buying a vehicle that is not a collector car is never a good "investment" as it will always go down in value.

Keep in mind the Edge is not a high speed vehicle. A lot of Ford trucks are limited to 100 mph, don't know about the Edge. If I were going to be blazing down the Autobahn an Edge would not be my choice.
