Why doesn't my cars heat work properly ?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

three weeks ago my passenger side vents only shot out cold air while my drivers side was fine. After a few days my drivers side air began to be cold. I went to get it flushed about two weeks. After the flush the heat was working great! Up until yesterday that is. Yesterday I noticed that the passenger side vents have cold air while the drivers side is hot. I have the dial turned all the way up on the heat. Any idea on what it could be? Should I get it flushed again or is it something else?

the thermostat is stuck open...get a new 180 degree thermostat~ about 15 bucks max~

the direction switch and blend door may have a broken cable end~ one might have to examine the function...may require a bit of disassembly~
