hard to say with out hearing the knock, check the oil both level and color and smell if has burn smell. Best to transfer it to a mechanic you trust to avoid more damage.

Could also be the header gasket, check while engine is running if you can feel exhaust coming out between the engine and the header´s and also where the headers connect´s to the exhaust pipe.

My 2004 Dodge Durango starting knocking one morning and hasn't stopped I have not been running it or driving and I've been letting it sit it the last time I started it still was knocking in engine was shaking I don't know what he could be I was told it was one of the rods could be out that I might have to do a whole engine I don't know what to do cuz I have any type of solution if you have it
