Question type: Maintenance & Repair
Bought vehicle new three weeks ago. Runs great. Five days ago on the first start of the day it runs rough and the engine acts like it wants out of the vehicle. Took the vehicle to the dealer and their response was that Dodge knows there is a problem but has no idea what causes it, much less has a fix. Is this only happening on the Hemi or is this fleet wide? Anyone have an idea how to fix the issue?

hahahahahahaha Dodge doesnt know how to fix it so you thought a backyard mechanic would lol lol rotflmao
have not heard about this but try to put this question up here, a lot of knowledge on this site: http://www.dodgedurango.net/
Manecut1 - I have in the past found a lot of good knowledge in "Backyard" mechanics. But I was more interested in finding out how many others have run into the problem. Siguour - Thank you for the reply.
I have 2013 Durango-Hemi that runs like it is missing/chugging when light pressure on the throttle. Dealer said it is the computer trying to decide whether to shift from 6/4 cylindere to all 8. I don't undeerstand why they can't fix this. I have 13000 miles.
Most of the engine issues that I have seen posted involve the V8 Hemi. That is why I opted for the V6 in my Grand Cherokee and now my Durango. I have excellent results in the GC and hoping for the same in the Durango!
