Can I take a 1999 Dodge Durango engine and put it
in a 2004 Dodge Durango

I don't know about that, but where are you located? And would you be interested in selling it?

Not if it is a magnum such as their 5.9L it will not bolt up and you will have to do some fab work and it may not even be worth it in the end.
