Why is my truck burning so much oil?

Why would my truck be burning oil, I have replaced
the motor, o2 and o1 oxy sensors, my Cadillac
Converter and a few other things n I've only had 6
months. It all started w the Stabili light coming on
then it started reducing power. Before I changed
the engine I was going through 6 q a week, Ive had
the newer engine about 3 weeks n im up to 4 q a
week.

Replaced it with a used engine? I guess you got a bad one.

I hate to say this, but get rid of it! These vehicles are nothing but trouble! My neighbor had 2 of them and didn't keep either one long enough to pay for them! If you want a dependable American SUV get a Ford Explorer or Expedition. GM filed for bankruptcy for a reason! Sorry!! Jim

You have a Cadillac converter? Why not just convert it to a Cadillac?
