Is it worth it to fix chain

Just bought a 2012 92,000 mileit has a rebuilt title
but I had a rebuilt title before and car was great so I
wasn't bothered by that. on the way home from
buying it check engine light came on called dealer
he swears no lights where on. Go to shop next day
timing chain and two 02 sensors dealer claims I'm
being lied to says bring it back we'll take a look at
it, yeah right! Take it to Chevy again timing chain in
less than 24 hrs after buying. They said chains only
unless they see Piston damage $1500 Thought
about taking it to we buy cars and taking whatever I
get and move on. Hoping this 1599 means no more
problems! Also checking with an attorney to sue
dealer brcytgey damn sure knew!!!!

I had a 2010 Milan with a rebuilt title it was a very good car. Would I recommend always to buy one one? No but my issue is the chain not the title status
Can you take a loss selling it with an engine that needs work and salvage title? You won't get much for it. Fix it and see if you can get a couple years out of it.
Been offered about 2000$ from one of we buy car places. Which would be a big loss I talking 2000 plus more to go buy another one because I don't want a note. Or pay 1500 and hope it's fixed. I figured 92000 I could drive it to 140000 150000 and junk it so title wouldn't matter
I see everyone is focusing on the title again I'm not in love with rebuilt titles I know a dealer in the area that that's all they sell. My issue is the car not the title, if I get it fixed it makes it even harder to now take a major loss getting 1600-2000 and buy another car. The dealership definitely knew there's zero doubt about that
The reason we are focusing in on the title is if you try to sell it, you will get much less for a salvage title vehicle, and lose more money. I tell people that buy salvage vehicles, that you will save money, but due to resale, and you should drive it till it dies. So sell it vs fix all comes down to your choice. Roll of the dice.
Astonished? Car dealers are known to b dishonest I don't know why that surprises you? Most used cars get zero warranty I can't remember the last used car outside of one that was only a year old where I got a warranty. Dealers always clear check engine lights and claim ignorance. New car dealers lie. Obviously they knew the condition of the chain that's without question.
If I knew a check engine light and chain was bad I wouldn’t have bought the car, titles don’t have a thing to do with a check engine or chain. I had a rebuilt car before it was great car, I know dealers that sale nothing but rebuilt so that’s false! Once again focusing on title instead of mechanical issues! How exactly was I supposed to know they cleared the code and hid chain problems? I’m not the first or last to be fooled by a dealer including you.
I buy cars like I change underwear and Ohio doesn’t mandate warranty! Plus most aftermarket warranties are worthless. Dealers lying isn’t unusual this site is full of I bought a car and immediately had trouble complaints
