My 2003 dodge dakota is making a loud squealing noise while driving and gets louder when I press on the brakes.

It could possibly be the pads have worn down to the rivets. I would check them out. If that's what it is you will either need to turn the old rotors down to remove the scoring or buy a new set to go with new pads.
