Dodge Dakota2002 4.7 engine

My engine shuts down while driveing the
computer says there are no codes after it
sits for a while it will start back up drive for
6 or 8 mi an shut down agine does anybody
know what going on i am at a loss please
help

I am thinking. Crank senser i am getting a code that i wasent seeing at first the cpde is no bus5 i watched a few videos an they ended up with dif things like a short under the fuse panel witch i checked an crank or cam sensor. The worst was a new computer am checking. These things the truck will not start now was lucky to get it home wth out a tow bill if u have any more in put would like to here it thanks for ur response
