This is something that you would have to ask the dealer in which you want to purchase the car from,if you find a car on here and would like to ask questions about it such as this one, click the contact seller on the car page and ask it.

There ARE third-party insurance companies for just this same purpose. I get their junk mail all the time .... although I don't infer THEY are junk companies. It just that I don't need them. You DO know about the tire situation that requires you to replace all tires at the same time .... right? Subarus are kinda unforgiving if you destroy one tire and just replace it. The other tires... being worn and a new tire mismatch cause ... or can cause .... a lot of transfer case troubles. Just keep that in mind.

mikaellewis- OK, here's an answer for you. If you purchase a car and finance it through a credit union, by the way, you can join any Federal Credit Union now, they will likely as you if you want to purchase mechanical breakdown insurance and offer you various deductible amounts for a price provided the car is under 100,000 miles. The insurance is good up to 100,000 miles only. I financed my car that way and took out the policy, hopefully, you're not going to need it, but, it's good peace of mind.
