Backs of the front heated seats do not get warm. Williams in east Lansing Mi. refuse to
help. I have had cancer in the back and need some heat for comfort. The bottom of the
seat heats fine its the back of the seat. Do i need to contact Subaru for answers?

honestly as far as I am aware Subaru only runs their heat coils through the seat bottom, not through the back. Every Subaru I've been in with heated seats has been how you described yours to be.
Nick is right, It is NOT designed to heat all your back but the bottom seat, so it is normal:)
That's funny because I have a 2012 Legacy and that's NOT how my seats heat!
do you have any seat covers over your seats? I do and i feel that the bottom heats more still.
I assumed that this is the way they make them in mine at least. I have testes a few 2014's for the heated seat as well sins i love having my butt warmed up in winter and they seem to be the same as mine.
On my 2012 Legacy I do have seat covers and the back of the seat gets warmer than the bottom which I love. The Forester has leather seats and no seat covers.and the seat heaters are junk! I am about to buy a Honda!
thanks for letting us know. Just out of curiosity, is the seat uneven heating the only reason you are swapping your Subaru for Honda?
This is my 7th Subaru and the first I have had a issue with. It's the dealership s caviar attitude because they did not sell the car.
