Hi- my 2012 CRV has been making a loud rattle upon starting for a while now.  
car has about 45K miles on it.  Mechanic thinks it needs a new camshaft gear-
just wondering what this should cost.

If the engine rattles upon cold start up then it may only be oil not getting to the lifters real fast. Not a big deal. Doesn't Honda have some extended power train warranty? And if the mechanic is wrong, you may be buying an engine you didn't need.
