tires for a 2013 Ford Excape from Walmart since they are nation wide and I'll be moving in Jan cross country. I prefer something made in the USA but there are so many brands now, I only know the big names. I don't want to spend a fortune but want a reliable tire. What brands are reliable?

I need new tires and will be moving cross country in Jan. I'm thinking an all
weather tire from Walmart since they are nationwide but don't know what a
good brand would be. And I don't want to spend a fortune. I prefer made in
the USA but I'm open as long as it is reliable.

Firestone Destination LE2's are what I recommend. Quite, smooth, good wear when rotating regularly, I get 6 years and just over 40K on them before replacing.

Walmart has extra cheap tires made for them. I would not buy any Walmart tire that is not available from other tire sellers. There are other nationwide tire sellers. I would buy from them. I like America's Tire.

My 2008 Ford Escape AWD floor matts keep getting soaked. I thought I had fixed it by making sure the sunroof was closed properly, but it has continued. I have tried to figure out where this is coming from and finally after drying them out again I laid under the the vehicle and both on the drivers side in the middle of the front floor area and the passanger side there is a small hole about the size of a dine right in the middle. That would account for the water coming in after rain storms and such, but why would these two holes be there? Was there a drain area there with plugs and they are missing? Can I have a piece of metal welded over them? Don't know why they would be there. Doesn't seem to be a rust issue as it is frim all around these small holes. 7 Answers
