ive got a 2002 3.5 v6 es dodge intrepid and this morning when i went to start it it cranked over breifly but as soon as i give it a little gas the thing shut's off. the oil light has been coming on lately when i put the ignition in standby mode right b4 i start it and it ding's. i have replaced the battery, the coolant reservoir, and the thermostat all in the last 6 mo.'s and i have read somewhere that there could be air in the coolant system and to bleed that out and refill with fresh coolant. also maybe an oil change? could this be a pump issue, or maybe a head? the manual says do an oil change every 3000 mi.'s so that is due. it has recently began to turn cold outside and im thinking that that is what has brought on this problem. also, i noticed that the coolant reservoir was practically empty and that is why i thought maybe air had gotten in the pipes and jimmy'd something on the block resulting in a non-start due to the cold weather. any suggestion's?
the car is in great running condition but may need minor maintenance repair
