Speedometer readouts

Question type: General

On a sunny day the speedometer readout for kilometre per hour when I go to canada is
very hard to read.  With sunglasses it is useless.  The readout is much smaller and the
backlighting is ridiculously low compared to the larger miles per hour readout.  Any
suggestions.

Have you made sure the control for the dash lights is turned up to max? Also can you switch the MPH and the KPH so that they reverse themselves? I don't mean take anything out, just see if you can make the KPH brighter and the MPH darker. I would take it into the dealer and let him take a peek, of before that look in the owners manual and see if it's addressed there.
