See what the fuel pressure is at the rail when the truck is running hot and the conditions you a describing. Seems like a bad pump but can't tell until you get those pressure readings..

Do I have to take it to a shop again to have fuel pressure checked for me then? I appreciate any and all help I can get. Thanks!!

you can purchase a gauge at an auto store like Auto Zone or cheaper with be harbor freight, the fitting on the rail looks light a fitting on a tire...
