I just put a new thermostat on my 2013 Chevy malibu that
was stuck open, now my temperature gauge keep going
up to hot & back to normal but my car is not overheating. I
was told it could be a sensor & if that is so which sensor
would it be?

Did you buy a $6** P.O.S. thermostat ? May be air in the system check that
