2013 Honda Accord Gear Display

Asked by HondaHannah Aug 07, 2017 at 02:53 PM about the 2013 Honda Accord EX-L

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

In my 2013 Accord, the indicator in the speedometer that tells me what gear
I am in blinks with like a 0 (with a slash thru it) and a 3. Whether I am in
park, reverse, or drive it continuously blinks. It is more annoying than
anything. I also fear that I will have it in a lower gear and won't know.

Anybody know what this could be????? I've tried about a million google
searches and can't come up with anything.

The blinking is probably a transmission fault warning. A transmission shop may be able to read fault codes.

So I can just find a good transmission shop to read it? I kinda hate all the Honda dealers within 2 hours of where I live..):
