Changed battery on 2011 corvette now my airbag comes on

Took to the dealer and got a new battery put in and now my airbag light comes
on .do they need to reprogram it it was find before all this

Funny things happen on the newer cars when disconnecting the battery, but they should have known if your car needed an external power source in order to keep the settings in the computer. I would take it back and see what they say, they should be able to get things right again.

replacing the battery doesnt have anything to do with the air bag system it is probably just coincidence unless they damaged the harness or a sensor otherwise the air bag system is unaffected
