What could cause Hyundai 2013 Accent to blow smoke out exhaust and shake upon starting or accelerating?

The smoke is blue and i have been told today it probably is the PCV valve and they cost $5.39 and easy to replace. The oil usage related to the valve makes sense, because it was using oil like crazy and NO SIGN WHATSOEVER of any leaks...couldnt figure out where it was going. The check engine light would come on for few days or a week then it would be off for awhile. When the shaking started was two days ago while accelerating on highway it began to shake, and wasnt taking gas or accelerating..I pulled over checked oil etc. Started up and drove fine from Gainesville to Dallas Tx. Then this morning when i started it in parking lot after it had sat all night the smoke returned and a lot of smoke and ut shook for few seconds. The smoke is very sporadic it can be 6 weeks no smoke running fine then it will appear again. Always on the initial start of day. The Check Engine light has only been on then off for padt month but the smoke issue has been almost since i bought it...about 30 days after. I bought it used and it currently has about 73k miles on it.

My 2013 Accent started smoking just this past December, 2017. Engine light did what yours did, too. I got it checked, and code was for clogged catalytic converter or O2 sensor. It is going through oil now at about a quart and a half per tank of gas. My mileage has dropped from 40 city/50 hwy to 20 city/30 hwy. I am thinking it's the rings, and it know pings while running. Clutch just started to slip, and it is hesitating upon acceleration. A/C just went out, and the crankshaft rotation sensor died in February of this year, too. The car has 163K miles on it (125K were put on in first 3 years due to work), has been rear-ended twice in 6 months, hit a tire tread on freeway at 65MPH, and STILL ran fine. Five years and not a single engine issue, then literally the month I made my last payment it starts to fall apart. hahaha!
