Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Car ran great yesterday. Today won't fire.  Pretty sure I have fuel. Added a little
to make sure. You can hear the fuel pump clicking, but it keeps clicking. It
usually gets quiet when you get pressure.  Getting fuel at carbs. Have
converted twin SU's.  You can smell gas like its flooded, but I didn't flood it.
Spark plugs are wet.

Check for spark. If the plugs are wet you probably flooded it. Did it run after you converted it to twin SU's? I suspect a stuck needle or bad float in a carb.

Yeah. Still flooding. Gonna pull carbs today.Rebuilt carbs during restoration several years ago. Maybe float sticking. Happened from one day to the next. One day ran great, the next flooded. Thanks for all the help.

seriously, this car, at least the 1978, were or now meant to be driven around town or a show, occasionally, a bit further. I have a good mechanic who does not charge an arm and a leg, to keep my little bird, humming. I love MGB days in the spring and fall.
