My 2013 Ford Focus Automatic doesn't go into reverse. What can it be?

What kind of mileage? Do you have that super problematic "revolutionary" new transmission? Those things are garbage pots. My fathers 2013 with 22k miles is going back into the shop for its fourth set of clutches and computer reset. They are a known problem and possibly yours is under manufacturer warranty.
