I had a bent pushrod replace the pushroad and lifters went down the road after running perfect for about 40 minutes at a idle and the boom happened again and the ticking came back. Iam thinking i bent another push rod what would cause that to happen AGAIN? Chevy 2013 lt 5.3 liter

There could be a number of causes. Bad lifters and metal fatigue are two. I will post a link for you to read.

We changed the pushrod and lifters and looked over everything along putting back together and all looked great. Sat at a idel about 40 minutes sounded great went down the road heard a loud boom same as before and the ticking sound is back at a lose. Thanks for the post I appreciate your help just not sure what to do now
If this was my engine I would be considering a full valve train rebuild. Can't say this is what you need but I would be thinking about it.
Thanks for your time your very helpful appreciate it.
All of my pushrods are bent and has no compression any suggestions
