Radiator fan clutch

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I just replaced the thermostat,  housing, and water
pump on my 99 Durango 5.9L V8. I was curious
before I put everything back together if the fan
clutch should spin separately from the nut that
threads onto the water pump, so I can replace it if
necessary. Seems to me like it should not. This is
my primary mode of transportation and I called in
to work today to take care of this project. Look
