i have a 99 durango and it is idleling at 600 rpms and is starting to act up while staring any ideasv

Maybe time for a tune up, also do you have fresh gas in the tank if not get some and ad a fuel injector cleaner to the gas tank whle it is full. Check you battery have it load tested and check if the alternator is giving you over 14 volts. Start on these things. You can check the codes with the key thing, put the ignition key into the ignition and turn it fast from of to on without starting three times and the codes, if you have any will appear where the odometer is and then you can go to this site to see what they mean: http://www.wjjeeps.com/faultcodes.htm
