2013 Subaru Forester A/C compressor

What is the warranty on the A/C compressor?  I have a 2013 Forester that has
40,194 miles on it and the a/c compressor is shot.

Your warranty is probably expired but since you are only 4k over 36 miles you could try for a good will warranty repair. All you can do is ask. Read the warranty in the materials that should be in the glove box.
