You may have a restriction in the oil pressure gauge screen, take the screen out if it has crud in it. If there is crud in it then the engine has not been maintained properly. I would hook up a manual oil pressure gauge just to verify actual oil pressure. It’s too soon for excessive bearing clearance problems, but if it hasn’t been maintained then it is possible. Now GM’s of this design are know for oil pumps going out, so good luck.

Oil pressure sensors are a common problem with these trucks. There is a screen under the sensor that gets plugged. I made an adapter that goes where the oil cooler lines bolts onto the oil pan to check oil pressure.
