if you check the above then only things else are the light switch or turn signal switch..did you work the switch to see if you get any lights to flash...

The headdlights (Lo/Hi) work, the DRLs work. The hazards work, the turn signals work, the reverse lights work. The only lights not working are the tail, plate and front sidemarkers. I've checked all fuses (both engine compartment and under dash) and everything reads good...I have been in the game along time, but this one has me stumped.

I ended up taking it to the dealer because the part was expensive and I had the extended warranty. The cause was the LCM (light control module) . The tech stated it was caused by aftermarket tow harness which was on the truck when I purchased it. He replaced the LCM and removed the harness. Everything working. A friend of mine thinks I got played. He says that it probably wasn't a control module. He had a 2004 Tacoma and claims there is a hidden fuse box for the trailer behind the driver's seat which controls the lights. I cannot say whom is correct. A 2004 is much older than a 2013. I did check for the "hidden box" but did not see it, so I'm staying with the LCM. Good Luck!

I have an 07 taco base and had the same problem. It ended up be my Reese trailer wiring harness. Im not sure if the harness was bad or the dealer when they put a new frame on messed it up.
