Rear caliper not lining up with mounting bracket

Do you have one for the wrong side? Have you checked to see if you received the correct part number?

Ordering from three different parts houses all looked the same. But none looked like the old one Wich my wife returned as the core. VW has the one like I took off for like $300. Found out I can get one from Auto zone with a new bracket. Maybe you must install the new bracket to get away from OE part. Here's to hoping.

yea when you get a new part that comes with a braket you often need to install the braket to go with it. unless the part specifies it fits OE brackets they often put it in there due to the fact it does not fit your orignal :P
