Asked by Bats2675 Jan 04, 2021 at 09:05 PM about the 1995 Dodge Dakota 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Have a 95 dodge dakota with a 318 and it sometimes does not want to start.
Tried new ignition and that did not solve the problem. It works every time when
jumped across at fuse box but not when turn ignition key on. Need some
serious help with this one!!

Sounds like you could have a crank position sensor going out on you

under fuse box in engine compartment there are 3 3 wires going to 1 check connection that will probably be your problem by the way i have 95s of my own this has been a problem for me with same symtoms
