Then buy a 4WD truck. To convert a 2WD truck into a 4WD is a real budget killer. You will need transmission, transfer case, drivelines, differentials, suspension, plus all the electronics that go with it. A real nightmare.
Thank you I had no idea about engines that is why I came here for the first time. I do know the math for lending on money borrowed has been a killer with what moves the fed reserve is making on lending money, and wanted to see if what I asked was even an option, being that I have a good friend that is a mechanic. I do admit I do not know all things in life and I am ok with that. I am willing to learn new things thankful for your answer GA.
It's good that you have someone that can help you out. Thanks for the points. If this was an old school truck like back in the 60's or 70's you could do it, I know cause I did it, the hardest part was getting the front differential aligned cause the frame wasn't drilled for a 4X4.
