where is the fuel filter located?

it is a in tank only filter(part of the fuel pump) If you are ambitious you could put one in line somewhere on the frame rail if you really wanted to.

I have a problem on my 95 Dodge Dakota V6 at first I was driving it seem like it ran out of gas because my gas gauge doesn't work. I went and got gas put gas in it then it wouldn't start I had to tow it back to my house and now it's sitting at my house, so therefore it was starting and running for a few seconds then dying every time he gets gas it dies as of right now it won't start anymore. I put a new fuel pump in three months ago. What's the problem?
